Expect up to 20 wedge-shaped, 3 to 4" fruits at one time on a single plant! Peppers start out yellow and mature to a deep, beautiful red and have a great crunchy texture. Flavor is excellent at any stage, but becomes sweeter when allowed to fully mature.

Very sweet and crispy thick walled flesh when ripe. Without heat.

Red Belgian Pepper plants are compact with high yields.
The plants sometimes have difficulty in bearing their own fruit weight so you might want to stake it early.

Peppers prefer rich, loamy soil. You can easily get this soil type by tilling in an inch or so of good, organic compost. Be careful with nitrogen, though. Peppers react well to nitrogen, growing so quickly that they are more disease-prone and won't produce as much.
